| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | A large portion of the first term will be spent improving listening and developing an active vocabulary. Topics for limited conversation and communication are listed below. We will also rely on outside material from recorded media. If time permits, a special section on English dialects will be included at the end of the term. |

| 成績評価の方法及び基準 | 試験(40%)、平常点(20%)、授業内テスト(10%)、授業参画度(10%)、Online blogs, group work, assignments, discussions and exercises.(20%) Outside of class work will be held via Blackboard 9. Students will need to know how access the campus internet to participate in blogs, journals, group work, homework assignments, and online discussions. Permission to access the campus internet is issued by the computer center. Students may use either their personal computers or one of the campus computers to access BB9. |
