授業テーマ	English for Earth Sciences and the study of the environment.
授業のねらい・到達目標	The course will focus on English vocabulary and terminology used in studying the Earth. While lectures will concentrate on listening and speaking skills, involving interactions between the students and the lecturer in English, students will be set reading and writing assignments to complete in their own time using terms covered in the previous lectures and revise key vocabulary. 学科プログラムの学習・教育目標「(F)コミュニケーション能力」に寄与する。
授業の方法	Powerpoint presentations, speaking and listening exercises.
事前学修・事後学修，授業計画コメント	次回授業の範囲を指示するので、予習してくること。宿題を課す。
