授業テーマ In this semester-long course, students will develop their English speaking skills through pair work, small group, and whole class discussions on a variety of topic as well as build essential vocabulary, reading and critical thinking skills.
授業のねらい・到達目標 The purpose of this course is to develop students speaking and listening skills. By the end of this course, students should be able to fluently exchange ideas and opinions.
授業の方法 The course will cover one unit of the course book every two weeks. Each unit begins with an exercise to activate the students' knowledge of the topic (schema) followed by vocabulary building. Reading passages provide the students with essential information to help them develop critical thinking skills and to take part in informed discussion.
