授業テーマ To develop the skills from the previous semester so that students can write different types of research essays.
授業のねらい・到達目標 Students will first learn how to write an expository essay, then an argumentative one, and finally a compare and contrast essay.
授業の方法 The entire textbook will be covered in class. Whatever will not be completed will be assigned for homework.
事前学修・事後学修,授業計画コメント Each homework assignment is worth 3% of the student's final grade: -1% if it is late, -1% if it is incomplete, and -1% if it is poorly completed.
