授業概要 | Students will be able to craft and deliver an effective oral presentation in English. |

授業のねらい・到達目標 | Students will be able to organize a presentation into a speech that incorporates three aspects: a verbal message, a vocal message and a visual message. The students will gain practice reviewing their classmates’ written and spoken texts and commenting on them. 授業の方法 | By the end of this course, students should be able to clearly express their opinion in writing and speaking in an understandable, memorable and inspiring way. This includes being able to craft a message that is simple, unexpected, concrete, credible, emotional and which incorporates personal stories. Furthermore, students will learn the importance of para-linguistics in oral presentations, namely vocal control, eye contact, gestures, and posture. Finally, the effective use of visual aids will be emphasized.Students should spend 1 hour to complete the preparation and homework for each class. |
