授業概要	聞く・話すという、音声による英語のコミュニケーション能力を培う。
授業のねらい・到達目標	・英語を聞いて、おおよその内容を理解できる。・自分が相手に伝えようとすることを英語で即座に表現できる。この科目は文理学部（学士（文学））のディプロマポリシーDP2,DP4,DP5及びカリキュラムポリシーCP5,CP8に対応しています。
授業の方法	演習方式本授業の事前・事後学習は，合わせて１時間の学習を目安とします。
履修条件	①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」（前期）と「英語2」（後期）は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。

4	Unit 2: What a life! Preparation: Read through Unit 2 of the textbook and complete homework. Review: conversation and vocabulary p.10-p.11
5	Unit 2: Daily routine Preparation: Think about your daily routine and describe your daily life as a student. Review: vocabulary (Everyday activities) p.14
6	Unit 3: Free time Preparation: Read through Unit 3 of the textbook and complete homework. Review: conversation and vocabulary p.16-p.17
7	Unit 3: Social life Preparation: Think about things you like to do and describe leisure activities that you like to do. Review: vocabulary (Free-time activities) p.20
8	Mid-Term Quiz: Assessment and commentary Preparation: Review all notes and textbook chapters. Review: Read p.4-p.21
