授業概要 The students will write a thesis on a topic of English literature or culture in order to graduate.
授業のねらい・到達目標 Can conduct research on any aspect of Western culture.
Can write a 25-page graduation thesis in understandable English.
Can make a Works Cited list.
Can defend the thesis in comprehensible English.

授業の方法 Students will attend class to review the work they accomplished throughout the previous week, to continue it, and be assigned what to do for the following class. students must also be constantly conducting research on their topics, reading what they have found, and writing notes about the content read in order to include in-text citations with paraphrases, summaries, and/or quotes. Finally, they should spend 1 hour to complete preparation and homework for each class.
