| 授業概要 | JAPANESE POPULAR VISUAL ARTS AND PERFORMANCES – The Cultural History of Manga, Anime and Japanimation _______________________________________________________________________________________________ This course covers the cultural history of Japanese manga, animation and anime. Students will examine the association between these genres of Japanese popular visual arts (JPVA) and the Japanese culture, their social roles and meanings, their modes of production, and how they developed over time. Both English (discussions) and Japanese (keywords and concepts) will be utilized. Coursework will be based on thematized weekly assignments using English. 本講座では漫画、アニメーション、及びアニメを含む日本のポピュラービジュアルアーツ（以下JPVA）の歴史を詳しく探索しながら、＜描き＞を取り巻く作品と文化の関係性、各ジャンルの社会的な意味と役割、それらの生産様式、及びそれらの発展経緯について考察を重ねる。授業は英語（解説）と日本語（キーワード・概念）を合理的に使いこなし、各週の課題への取り組みを通じて履修生自らの文化解説能力の助長を図る。 |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | To enhance skills in academic acquisition, research, and communication in both English and Japanese – mainly for Japanese students who are interested in studying and working abroad. ※主に海外での留学や仕事を考えている学部生に対し、英語と日本語の双方を駆使した学術的なコミュニケーションを通して、日本の事情や日本文化の諸相をよりよく理解し伝えて行くスキルを養う。 ◎ この科目は文理学部のDP及びCP1,2に対応しています。 |
