授業テーマ	To enhance English oral communication skills.
授業のねらい・到達目標	To develop English speaking fluency skills.
授業の方法	In this year-long course, students will practice English language skills through paired, small group, and whole class discussions on a variety of topics.
履修条件	・同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。・後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。

教科書	Paul del Rosario, Speaking for Fluency, Lingua Media, 2008, 1 edition 前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超えた場合、人数調整をするため、履修の許可を得るまでは教科書を購入しないこと。
成績評価の方法及び基準	試験(40%)、平常点(20%)、授業内テスト(20%)、授業参画度(20%) To pass, students must 1) buy the textbook, 2) miss no more than 4 classes a semester, 3) complete all assignments for homework or in-class activities & projects 4) use English when speaking to the teacher and during English speaking activities in class. Students who are more than 30 minutes late for class will be marked absent.
オフィスアワー	The instructor will be available for questions or advice before class (in the teachers' lounge) and after class in the classroom Mondays 8:30-12:10.
