授業テーマ	To improve students' oral communication ability to participate in conversations, group discussions and debates as well as make academic speeches.
授業のねらい・到達目標	To use current topics of high interest for students to engage in conversations, group discussions and debates.
授業の方法	Presentation of new concepts, then have the students work on these concepts. Also a presentation of “genuine English” through movie clips.
履修条件	all departments ・同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。・後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。

教科書	Warren Wilson , Fifty-Fifty Book Two:Third Edition, Pearson Longman , 2009 ・前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超えた場合、人数調整をするため、履修の許可を得るまでは教科書を購入しないこと。
成績評価の方法及び基準	試験(30%)、平常点(20%)、授業内テスト(40%)、授業参画度(10%) Students who are frequently absent or late will not receive credit for this course.
