| 授業テーマ | Students will continue their exposure to Victorian literature by studying a novel, the most popular genre of the period. |

| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | The goal of this course is to read and understand The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890) as a representative text of the late Victorian age (1871-1901). |
| 授業の方法 | Students will read the novel and summarize its chapters for homework; then complete comprehension activities, listen to brief lectures, watch a dramatization of the book, and discuss the content in class in order to consolidate the material. |
