| 授業概要 | This class is designed for first year university students whose main interest is to develop basic oral communication skills in English with a focus on speaking and listening. Instruction during the school year will be built on basic conversational skills, providing the students with strategies for expanding what they can say and increasing their ability to communicate in English. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | Able to describe yourself and others. Able to share personal preferences with others. Able to discuss future plans and intentions. Able to successfully deal with several topics such as confirming information, asking questions to clarify situations, and apologizing in English. この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。 |
| 授業の方法 | Class time will be spent to enable students to learn to read and write basic English expressions in addition to oral communication practice. Lessons will have many peer/small group activities. Students are encouraged to participate actively during the lessons. Preparation and review are very important in this class. |
