授業の形態 7回のオンデマンド配信回を含む「対面授業」。コロナ禍におけるオンデマンド授業を通じて、英語でのレクチャーは、巻き戻しや繰り返しの視聴ができるオンデマンド配信のほうが理解度が上がることが分かった一方、全講義でそれを行うと学生への負担が大きいことが見えてきた。そこで、画像や映像を多く使用したほうが理解度が高まる回と、内容が煩雑で繰り返しの視聴や巻き戻し視聴が有益な回の講義をオンデマンド配信とし、その他の回を対面方式として行う。

授業概要 This lecture explore the Eastern ideologies through investigating the ideas of and attitudes toward "life" in a comparative way.
授業のねらい・到達目標 Looking into the ideologies through the "life", "body", "reproduction", "engendering" , we will be able to reconsider the meaning of life and to live. In addition, through making summary notes at the end of each lecture, students will be able to improve their skills both in English writing as well as in summarization.

この科目は文理学部のDP1及びCP1に対応しています。
経験や学修から得られた豊かな知識と教養に基づいて，倫理的な課題を理解し説明することができる（A-1-1）。
授業の形式 講義
授業の方法 授業の形式：【講義】
オンデマンドの授業では、巻き戻し視聴、繰り返し視聴を推奨し、視聴後にノート提出を行う。巻き戻し視聴や繰り返し視聴により、講義内容の理解度が高められる。一方、臨場感が有効と思われる講義回は対面授業を行う。対面の英語講義では、巻き戻しや繰り返しができないことから、集中力が求められると共に、繰り返し等が行われないコミュニケーションにおける実質的な英語理解度を測ることができる。理解度向上を図ることと、瞬発的理解力を測ることで、より自覚的に「英語」による講義へに対応する英語力養成へのモチベーションを高めると共に、個々の英語力把握に役立つと思われる。なお、対面回の講義内容もオンデマンドでCanvas LMSにあげます。対面回に出席できない生徒は、オンデマンド配信のほうで講義を受けてください。

成績評価の方法及び基準 レポート:one final long essay(60%)、授業参画度:Note submission as well as two short essays. なお、対面回をオンデマンドで受講した場合は、ノート提出を以て参画度とします。(40%)
