| 授業概要 | Students print and read the topic transcripts before each class, then watch the video while reading the transcript a second time. After class, students study the transcript, and then take a quiz based on what they learn from the video and transcript. They also gain practical writing experience by preparing presentation worksheets which are used to give short presentations. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | The course provides a strong foundation in English communication skills. As a result, students are able to improve their speaking and writing skills while learning about interesting world and life topics. |

| 履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、GRECで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」（前期）と「英語2」（後期）は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |

| 成績評価の方法及び基準 | 授業参画度:Students give short presentations.(30%)、Students take 1 quiz for each of the 7 topics.(70%) 対⾯授業に参加できない場合の条件を満たし遠隔で参加した場合、課題の提出によって評価する。 小テストや授業内試験を受けられない場合、Canvas LMSを介した課題提出によって評価する。期日については都度、Canvas LMSで告知する。 |
