授業概要 | English 2 has a topic based syllabus where students will learn vocabulary, language structures and functions commonly used with each topic. Students will perform activities using the language covered in class in groups and 1 to 1 role plays. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | This course is aimed at improving communication skills with a focus on speaking and writing. Students will try to use English in a natural context. Our goal for speaking is to attain fluency. Our writing goals are to be grammatically effective and for our messaging to be understandable. 授業の方法 | The instructor will introduce each topic by using examples and explaining strategies for communication; both verbal and written. Students will prepare their tasks and share information in a group setting. Grammar points will be covered in a general method and will be checked on an individual basis. Feedback will be provided in class or online when assignments are returned. |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、GRECで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
