授業概要 | This course is designed to build young adult learners’ confidence to use English and communicate in everyday situations and interactive real-life exchanges. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | By the end of this course, students will develop their English oral communication skills. In particular, students will be able to: 1) discuss the role of English in society and English-speaking contexts (A-2-1) 2) understand and appreciate global cultures and social issues (A-3-1) 3) use appropriate grammar and vocabulary to express thoughts and opinions when discussing a variety of topics (A-6-1) 4) write clear and coherent sentences and construct well-organized paragraphs with proper structure. 授業の方法 | Students will engage in mainly small group discussion, class discussion, group work, pair work, listening activities, presentations and writing assignments. Feedback will be provided in class. |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、GRECで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
