授業の形態 (1) Course materials will be distributed via Google Classroom.
(2) Lectures will be delivered using slides, and students will improve their writing and presentation skills on related topics.
(3) Students will select a topic from the lecture content presented in the slides and participate in group discussions and
presentations.
(4) Students are expected to complete 30 minutes of pre-class preparation and 30 minutes of post-class review each week.
授業概要 This course focuses on developing practical English skills for academic purpose. Students will read the assigned materials, analyze English texts related to various topics, and deliver oral presentations on the content. Classes will include instructor-led discussions to strengthen comprehension, critical thinking, and spoken English.
Students will complete regular quizzes and written reports based on the materials provided. Detailed explanations, critiques, and feedback on quizzes and reports will be provided in the following class to support continuous improvement in both writing and presentation skills.
授業のねらい・到達目標 This course is designed to help students develop practical English skills for oral presentations and academic writing, enabling them to communicate their ideas clearly, confidently, and effectively.
この科⽬は⽂理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。

授業の方法 Students will read the assigned study materials, deliver presentations on its content, and participate in instructor-led discussions. They will also complete quizzes and written reports based on the materials provided, followed by detailed explanations and constructive feedback in the subsequent class.
履修条件 ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。
②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、GRECで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。
③「英語1」（前期）と「英語2」（後期）は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。
④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。
