授業概要	Graded readers are books written especially for language learners. The stories are interesting, but are written in simple English, so you can easily understand and enjoy them. Reading a lot of graded readers is known as extensive reading, and it is one of the best and most enjoyable ways to improve your language ability. It helps not only your reading ability, but all of your language skills. Listening to audio version of books is known as extensive listening which will help improve your listening skills. Talking about the books that you read will help you improve your English communication ability.
授業のねらい・到達目標	By the end of this course, students will be able to: ・improve your reading skills, including reading speed ・build your confidence in speaking and communication ・learn how to talk about books and stories that you have read ・use the language that you know to complete engaging tasks ・get to know your classmates more この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 4, 6に対応しています。
授業の形式	演習
授業の方法	Students will engage in extensive reading and extensive listening. These are a type of flooding one's comprehensible input. Students will discuss the books that they have read and listened to. They will work with their classmates in small group discussions, class discussions, and whole class presentations. These activites are a type of comprehensible output.
